1. At a Glance
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL].
- Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- New subscribers may request a full refund within seven (7) days of the initial charge if the subscription has not been materially used.
- Outside the initial-period window, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we are at fault (for example, a billing error or an extended Service outage).
- Subscription fees do not depend on sporting outcomes. There is no monetary return linked to the accuracy of any Model Output.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- From your account settings (Billing → Cancel subscription); or
- By emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL] from the address on your account, with the subject line “Cancel subscription”.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then you retain access to the features of your plan. We will not charge you for subsequent billing periods. If you cancel partway through a billing period, you are not automatically entitled to a prorated refund for the unused portion; see Section 4.
3. Initial-Period Refund Window
If you are a new subscriber, you may request a full refund of your first paid charge on a plan by contacting us within seven (7) days of that charge, provided that:
- You have not consumed a material portion of the paid features (for example, you have not generated a substantial number of prediction queries, exported significant volumes of data, or used premium-tier features extensively);
- Your account is in good standing and has not been suspended for violation of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy; and
- You have not previously received an initial-period refund for this or any prior plan.
Approved initial-period refunds are credited back to the original payment method within five (5) to ten (10) business days, subject to your payment-processor’s timing. We reserve the right to deny an initial-period refund where there is evidence of abuse (for example, repeat sign-ups to reset the window).
4. General Non-Refundable Rule
Outside the initial-period window, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods, unused features, or time not used during the remainder of a billing period after cancellation. This reflects industry-standard practice for recurring digital-service subscriptions.
5. Service Disruptions and Billing Errors
Notwithstanding Section 4, we may at our discretion issue full or partial refunds, service credits, or free extensions in situations including:
- Billing errors. Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or charges to a closed or unauthorized account.
- Extended service outages. Where core Service features have been materially unavailable for an extended period and the outage is attributable to us (not to you, your device, your network, or third-party infrastructure beyond our reasonable control).
- Material misrepresentation. If we have materially misrepresented the features you would receive on your plan.
6. Annual and Multi-Month Plans
If we offer annual or multi-month subscriptions, the initial-period refund window continues to apply to the first charge on the plan. Thereafter, annual and multi-month plans are non-refundable except as described in Sections 5 and 10. You may still cancel at any time; cancellation will stop auto-renewal at the end of the then-current annual or multi-month period.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] before initiating a chargeback. We are generally able to resolve billing concerns quickly and directly.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge you authorized, we may suspend your account pending resolution and recover the disputed amount, any processor fees, and reasonable costs of collection, consistent with our Terms of Service.
8. No Monetary Return on Outcomes
9. How to Request a Refund
- Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] from the address associated with your account.
- Use the subject line “Refund request”.
- Include your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and a brief description of the reason for the request.
We will acknowledge receipt and respond with a decision or a request for additional information within a reasonable period and in any event within the timeframes required by applicable law.
10. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights that cannot be limited or excluded by contract in your jurisdiction. If you reside in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of a digital service within fourteen (14) days. That right may be limited where performance of the service begins during the withdrawal period with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right is thereby lost. We will honor all statutory rights that apply to you.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced before they take effect, and the “Effective date” at the top of this Policy will be updated. Changes apply prospectively to subscriptions renewed or initiated after the effective date.
12. Contact
This Refund and Cancellation Policy is provided for review and should be finalized by qualified legal counsel licensed in your jurisdiction before customer-facing use.
